The Johnson Building

PierceHill provided a full range of quantity surveying services for the 44,000 sq ft (4,090 sq m) high specification fit-out of Thomson Scientific’s workplace environment over four floors within The Johnson Building which is situated in London’s Midtown business district between Holborn and Clerkenwell. The redeveloped, six-storey 1930s building will house the firm’s 600+ London-based staff. The professional team was led by project managers Cushman & Wakefield with architectural design performed by Forme.

Arcadia
Group
Colegrave House, 70 Berners Street, London

PierceHill performed quantity
surveying services for the reception area at Colegrave
House as well as the press room. The project, designed
by architect Less Associates, was one of a series of fit-outs
undertaken at Arcadia’s head office. PierceHill has
been involved with a variety of projects for Arcadia over
the last 10 years.

GMS Estates
60 Parker Street, London WC1
PierceHill prepared and controlled accurate budgets throughout the changing circumstances of this logistically challenging refurbishment of a listed derelict Victorian warehouse for GMS Estates. The scheme was originally planned as a new build until late ‘spot listing’ by the Local Authority created a refurbishment which included formation of a new stair, lift and toilet core at the rear of the property, which had to be accessed through an existing building off a narrow street. Marcus Beale Architects were the appointed architects for the project.

The Economist Group
Red Lion Square, Holborn, London WC1
PierceHill was appointed construction cost consultant for this bespoke fit-out project to relocate one of the Economist’s offices. Designed by Artillery Architecture and Interior Design, the project was completed on time and within budget. Pierce Hill also took financial control of the furniture package on behalf of the Client.
